Have you noticed the changes on Binjiang Release?
Yes, a new column of “Learning English with Binbin” on basic English expressions in daily communication like greetings or food and beverages, is recently put online at the end of each post since April, preparing the host city with confidence to welcome successive arrivals of international guests.

来自杭州600余位旗袍爱好者齐聚滨江樱花大道，“旗”舞亚运 “樱”你而美。一边是烂漫的樱花林，一边是壮丽的钱塘江景，数百位旗袍佳丽伴随着优美的音乐，脚踩着模特步，端庄优雅、袅袅婷婷，婀娜穿行。
More than 600 Qipao enthusiasts from Hangzhou gathered on the cherry blossom avenue in Binjiang, welcoming the Asian Games with the beauty of both Qipao and cherry blossoms. Hundreds of graceful ladies in Qipao walked elegantly to the music, enjoying romantic cherry blossoms on one side of the road and splendid scenery of Qiantang River on the other.

杭州亚运会吉祥物琮琮、宸宸和莲莲来滨江过三岁生日了！在星光大道 的肯德基亚运主题餐厅，他们开了一场别开生面的生日惊喜派对。除了肯德基，星光大道还有一家必胜客亚运主题餐哦，这是一场来自“餐饮+体育”的跨界合作，为推广亚运赛事、展示亚运文化带来新尝试。
Congcong, Chenchen and Lianlian, the mascots of the Hangzhou Asian Games were celebrating their third birthday in Binjiang! They held a special birthday party in a KFC restaurant themed Asian Games on the Star Avenue, where there is also a Pizzahut themed Asian Games as a cross-border cooperation of “catering+sports” for new attempts to promote the Asian Games and display the Asian Games culture.

滨兴学校近日组织了一个有趣的活动——制作“杭州一日游小手册”。同学们需要制定包括西湖十景、河坊街、宋城、京杭大运河等著名景点在内的合理的游览路线，通过亲身体验特色文化活动和美食，绘制出一本本图文并茂的手绘“杭州一日游手册”。一起做小小东道主，迎亚运，向未来！
There was an interesting activity organized by Binxing School to make a brochure on “One Day Tour in Hangzhou”. With personal experience of characteristic culture activities and local foods, students designed and made their hand-written brochure with vivid drawings and reasonable tour routes for famous scenic spots including the ten scenic spots of the West Lake, Hefang Street, Song Cheng Park, the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal and so on, welcoming the Asian Games as little hosts in future.

作为滨江最早的国际化社区，东信社区最近举办了一次别开生面的“东信迎亚运，‘英’你更精彩——垃圾分类英语教学”活动。社区居民们在这场生动有趣的英语教学中，提高了英语水平，积极参与垃圾分类，沉浸式共建“国际滨”形象。
As the oldest international community in Binjiang, Dongxin Community held a unique activity recently called “Learning English and Welcoming the Asian Games in Dongxin—Useful English on Garbage Classification”. This activity enabled residents to learn English while doing garbage classification, building the “International Binjiang” in an immersed way.

4月5日，“韵味杭州”2023中国羽毛球俱乐部乙级联赛在滨江体育馆开赛！来自全国各地的13支队伍，角逐团体赛金牌。作为杭州亚运会羽毛球项目场馆的首次实战演练，滨江体育馆运行团队以高标准进行竞赛组织工作，开展全流程、全要素实战演练。运动员们在场馆中也获得了一流的比赛体验。
On April 5th, “Exciting Hangzhou” China Badminton B-League 2023 kicked off at Binjiang Gymnasium. 13 teams from all over the country are having a close contest for gold medals in team events. For this first competition held in the badminton venue of the Hangzhou Asian Games as a practical exercise, the operation team of Binjiang Gymnasium carried out the organization work with high standards and conducted the full process in detail. Athletes have enjoyed a top competition experience in the venue.
