万里茶道湖北段文物主题游径对接国家“一带一路”倡议，把万里茶道申遗点、沿线文物保护单位、历史文化名城名镇名村、博物馆、A级景区、茶园、茶企等丰富的文旅资源统筹利用，串珠成链，以丰富多彩的文旅活动推动文化遗产活态传承，勾陈茶道历史，再续茶道辉煌。

In response to the Belt and Road Initiative, the project of Cultural Heritage Theme Tour of the Great Tea Route (Hubei Section) makes comprehensive use of the abundant cultural tourism resources of national heritage sites of the Great Tea Route as well as the cultural relic protection sites, famous historical and cultural cities, towns and villages, A-level scenic spots, museums, tea gardens, tea companies, etc. along the route, just like making the pearls into a brilliant chain. With diverse activities of cultural tourism, it promotes the living inheritance of cultural heritages in order to retell the history of the Great Tea Route and forge the glorious future of this route.

万里茶道湖北段文物主题游径主要途经武汉、咸宁、赤壁、鹤峰、五峰、宜都、宜昌、襄阳。

Along the Hubei section of this route, we will travel successively to Wuhan, Xianning, Chibi, Hefeng, Wufeng, Yidu, Yichang and Xiangyang.

此行第四站便是山水秘境，绝美鹤峰。

The fourth stop of this trip is Hefeng, a gorgeous county with mountains and rivers of immense charm.

On this picturesque land, let’s travel along the Great Tea Route, listen to the history echoed in the ancient villages, and explore the once bustling tea markets.Breathing the air filled with lovely tea fragrance in the Muer Mountain Tea Garden, we watch the cultural heritage revive with splendor in this glorious era!

木耳山茶园

“世界茶谷”木耳山位于武陵山脉石门支脉中部、鹤峰县走马镇东南部，木耳山原来以盛产野生木耳而得名，面积15.5平方公里，地形为丘陵小盆地。

The Muer Mountain, hailed as “the World Tea Valley”,is located in the middle of the Shimen branch of the Wuling Mountains and in the southeast of Zouma town, Hefeng county. With an area of small hills and basins of 15.5 square kilometers, it was originally named after its local product ---- wild fungus(“Muer”means “fungus”in Chinese).

木耳山茶园，是曾被中国国家地理推荐过的绝美茶园。

The Muer Mountain Tea Garden，which has been recommended by the Chinese National Geography，is a breathtakingly beautiful tea plantation.

茶园面积10700余亩，有无数个浑圆的山丘由一级级绿色茶树“堆砌”而成，线条清晰，轮廓分明，形若绿色“金字塔”。

The local tea garden occupies an area of more than 10,700mu(about 713 hectares), and there are countless round hills covered with green tea trees. With clear outlines, every hill is shaped like a beautiful green pyramid.

木耳山有三景：第一是连绵起伏的茶山，这里有99座形状不同的小山堡；第二是漫天红霞的日出，清晨，偌大的红色火球从东方冉冉升起，红色的霞光映照着翠绿的茶园，犹如人间仙境一般，成为了许多摄影爱好者的打卡地；第三是宛如仙境的云海，木耳山平均海拔高度900米，山的下面有一峡谷，筑有水坝，每日清晨，水雾缓缓上升，形成云海在茶山环绕，笼罩整个茶园，让人仿佛置身仙境。

The Muer Mountain has three unique sights.The first is the group of rolling tea hills, which includes 99 hills of diverse shapes.The second is the splendid sunrise. When the bright red ball rises slowly from the east early in the morning,numerous red rays of sunlight illuminate the green tea garden, making it a glittering fairyland on the earth, in which many photographers take great delight. The third is the sea of white clouds.With an average altitude of 900 meters,the mountain owns a glamorous canyon with a dam.Every morning, milky mist ascends slowly from the bottom of the canyon, forming a sea of white clouds around the tea hills, which gradually envelops the entire tea garden, making people feel as if they were in a wonderland of myth.

The Muer Mountain Tea Garden

Take a bus in Enshi city to go to Gaoma town in Hefeng county and then hire a car toclimb the Muer mountain to reach the tea garden. (It is about 15 minutes’ drive from Gaoma town to the Muer Mountain.)

鹤峰古茶道南村段

南村古村落

鹤峰古茶道南村段位于鹤峰县五里乡南村村，是万里茶道生产路段的交通、管理类遗产，是鄂西山区宜红茶的重要运输线。南村是容美土司南府所在，展现了土司境内茶叶生产、管理、贸易及修建茶道的历史进程，也成为明清时期该区域经济贸易、交通运输、文化交流的真实物证。

Located in Nancun village of Wuli township, Hefeng county, the Nancun Section of Hefeng Ancient Tea Road, which belongs to the heritage of transportation and management in the production part of the Great Tea Route, is a vital transportation line of Yi Black Tea in the mountainous area of western Hubei. Possessing the southern official residence of Rongmei Tusi(“Tusi”means “tribal leader”in Chinese), Nancun village witnesses the historical process of tea production, management and trade as well as the tea-route construction, and therefore becomes a real material evidence of economic trade, transportation and cultural exchanges in this region during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

该遗产点的道路系统是鹤峰县最具代表的道路遗存，有包括基岩路面、卵石路面、块石路面等不同类型的道路，总长约3公里。

The road system of this heritage site is the most representative of the road remains in Hefeng county. It includes different types of road surfaces such as the bedrock pavement, pebble pavement, and block pavement, with a total length of about 3 kilometers.

在古道沿途还有余家桥、二房桥等古桥8座，大木坪红茶号、龚家茶号等茶号4处，洞口驿站、高家湾驿站等驿站4处，长岭、连三坡、钟湾等古茶园8处，碑刻12通，还有张桓侯庙、燕喜洞等遗址，具有“线路规模大、类型要素全、遗产价值高”的特点。

Along the ancient tea road, there are 8 ancient Bridges such as Yujia Bridge and Erfang Bridge, 4 tea firms such as Damuping Black Tea Firm and Gongjia Tea Firm, 4 courier stations such as Dongkou Station and Gaojiwan Station, 8 ancient tea gardens such as Changling Tea Garden, Liansanpo Tea Garden and Zhongwan Tea Garden, 12 stone tablets with inions, Zhang Fei Temple, Yanxi Cave and other sites, all of which contribute to the road’s main characteristics of “large scale, complete types of elements and high heritage value”.

南府遗址

2006年，南府遗址作为容美土司遗址的重要组成部分，被公布为全国重点文物保护单位；2019年，湖北省人民政府将“万里茶道鹤峰段”公布为第七批文物保护单位；同年3月，国家文物局将“鹤峰古茶道南村段”纳入中国世界文化遗产预备名单。

In 2006, NanfuSite, an integral part of Rongmei Tusi Site, was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit.In 2019, the Hubei Provincial People’s Government announced the “Hefeng Section of the Great Tea Route” as the one of the seventh batch of cultural relics protection units.In March of the same year, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage included the “Nancun Section of Hefeng Ancient Tea Road” into the preparatory list of China’s World Cultural Heritage.
